Fallen feathers: Prompt


One day you decide to take a walk outdoors. Its nice weather, the sun is shining, and you’re on your favorite trail through the forest. It’s calm and peaceful for a while before there’s a sudden screeching sound. It sounds like a bird, and it’s defiantly in trouble. For whatever reason you decide to help the bird out and so follow the screeches to the site. But all is not what you thought…
The creature in distress is not a bird, but a miniature human with bird wings . It is definitely the source of the screeches though.  It has reason though, as it is currently dangling in the air, held there by ropes connecting from trees to the creature’s left leg and wing. No doubt it has been caught in a trap. Who’s caught?
